From August 1, in the Embassy of Latgale GORS will be presented the art photo exhibition “TELEVISION. WE ARE ONE OF YOU”. Valts Kleins has captured in photography 14 outstanding LTV personalities, symbolizing different times, still, united values of the public media, as well as it’s inseparable connection with the nation and the country.
The core values of the LTV are the responsibility, excellence, and uniqueness. It’s vision is to be responsible, independent and run an outstanding business, that inspires, informs, educates and entertains it`s audience all across Latvia. Latvian Television broadcasts the important information, invites to analyze and is always with their audience – is one of them.
“Latvian Television works side by side with Latvia and the nation already for 60 years, despiting the good or bad times. This is characteristic also to the mission of the public media. During the last couple years, Latvian Television has worked especially hard to become more appealing to the young, as well as older audience, in order to become diverse, more educational and captivating. Also, one of the ways of reaching out to our audience is through the photography made by the photo artist Valts Kleins. This exhibition presenting the photo creations will be on the display at the Embassy of Latgale GORS, in Rezekne, during the month of August,” tells the LTV Communication Director Klāvs Radziņš.
Director of the Artistic and Event Department Ilona Rupaine recognizes the importance of all regular and various exhibitions taking a place at the concert hall, and providing an opportunity of the appreciation from the audience. “The Embassy of Latgale GORS enjoys the presence of the Latvian Television not only in the form of the captivators of the event, but also as the part of the artistic process. Even the fact that the exhibition will be displayed in Latgale not for the first time, this will be an opportunity for the residents of Rezekne and the city guests to discover and enjoy beloved TV personalities in their different expression.”
Exhibition “TELEVISION. WE ARE ONE OF YOU” will be on display in the lobby of the first floor of the Embassy of Latgale GORS, in Rezekne, Pils Street 4, from August 4 to August 31.
