The first part of the concert program was dedicated to the instrumental music, where the main attention in paid to the piano and its play by the composer Uldis Marhilevičs himself. He performed together with his stage partners of many years – keyboardist Raimonds Macats, violinist Dzintars Beitāns, contrabassist Modris Laizāns and drummer Andris Buiķis, while on the second part of the concert the songs created on different career stages of the composer were sung together with the young and talented singer Antra Stafecka. The popular and songs composed especially for this occasion by U.Marhilevičs with the lyrics of G.Račs were performed as well.
Uldis Marhilevičs is coming from Liepāja. He has played in the music bands „Liepājas brāļi”, „Inversija”, „Opus”, „Remix”, has released three albums „Marhils un draugi”, „Tikai tā” and „Gaismas atgriešanās”. The full sympathy of the audience Marhilevičs has gained with the songs „Saule aust” and „Tikai tā”, „Vienīgā”, „Vai Tu mani dzirdi”, „Dzeltenās kurpes”. The song performed by Mirdza Zīvere „Lūgums” became the winner of the Latvian Radio Microphone Survey in 1984.
