Personal exhibit “Sunny Cornices. Provance and Latgalian Landscapes” by Diana Ive is displayed at Art Gallery of the Embassy of Latgale GORS from July 22nd through September 3rd.
Diana Ive about the exhibition: “Just as the French artists took on the road to Provance for the paints and the light, the same goods can be found in Latgale. Both areas are highly compatible in the artistic aspects – temper, multicultural environment, and folk traditions. Both can be seen as the areas preserving themselves in their fullest form, especially when compared to the urban environment.”
