In the honor of Jānis Ivanovs 110th anniversary, within a special concert program performed two of his grand compositions – Concerto for Cello and Orchestra, participating an outstanding Latvian musician and soloist living in the Switzerland Gunta Ābele, and 6th Symphony, named by the composer himself “The Symphony of Latgale”.
