"What is the music created from? This is something that cannot be explained. This is a kind of vibration created by a soul, an unexplainable feeling. These are not the certain sounds; these could be described as something coming from God," says Andris Eriņš.
In 2015 Latgalian musician, author of songs and lyrics Andris Eriņš celebrated his 60th anniversary. In the honor of a great event of his life, on November 22nd at the Embassy of Latgale GORS a place took an author concert “Bridges of a Soul”.
"With my songs, as I believe, I can make this world a better place, the society – more humane, and our life – more beautiful. I believe that my songs can do at least the millionth part of what is done by God – share and enhance the love and faith,” says Andris Eriņš.
Concert program "Bridges of a Soul" revealed the most beautiful songs composed by Andris Eriņš, performed by the composer himself, Aija Eriņa, Eriņi and Vorkaļi families, Ingrīda Balode-Augstkalne, group "Dricānu dominante", "Baltie lāči", "Gints un es", folklore friend’s group "Vīteri", "Laimas muzykanti", Rezekne District Mixed Choir "Ezerzeme", as well as the instrumental music band of Einārs Lipskis. Masters of the Ceremony - Agnese Eriņa and film director Jānis Streičs.
"For some time already, I have lived with a clear understanding on my songs not being the ones that could be loved by everyone. I realize that the circle of people who understands them is narrow. The songs are not a mass product for a fun mood, careless croon, and a loud shout. I was intrigued by some acknowledgements of songs being discouraging because of their complex content, as well as them being attractive with the melodies and lyrics that invite to listen more and more. They are and will especially be liked by the deep thinkers,” expresses Andris Eriņš.
Concert program revealed the songs composed by Andris Eriņš as "Komer mes Latgolā", "Storp divim azarim", "Austras dziesma", "Rēzeknes studentiem", "Siltajām dvēselēm", "Cymdu roksti", "Pieguļa", "Dziesma augšā esot", "Zemei un dziesmai".
The concert was supported by Z/S "Pumpuri", Augstkalnes Ltd., JSC Rēzeknes dzirnavnieks, JSC Rēzeknes autobusu parks, Rēzeknes satiksme Ltd., Latgales ziedi Ltd.
