The fifth year in the row, a place took the project ‘’Miss and Mister Rezekne’’ – during the closing ceremony of which was crowned the most beautiful and sophisticated couple of the Rezekne city. This project is not only raising the confidence of the local youth about their strengths, and developing the culture life of Rezekne city, but also providing an opportunity to fulfil the dream – being the one who brings and represents the name of the city in the world. The host of the competition was Māris Grigalis, but the audience was entertained by the performances of the well-known Latvian musicians, dancers and cirque artists. All this took a place during the intermissions of more than five contestants` presentations.
