This concert will bring the sounds of the leading choirs of Europe or TENSO days opening and closing grand concerts that took their place in October 2014 - Inuit stories in interpretation of opus “The First Tears” by Ēriks Ešenvalds and “Sirmās dvēseles” (“Grey Souls”) by Līga Celma-Kursiete after the motives of stories with the same title by Kārlis Skalbe. During the concert, you will be able to hear composition for choir and old believers priest “Paradisus Vocis” by Andrejs Selickis. The composition is written after the Byzantines cantos research trip to the most ancient religious temples and monasteries in Turkey and Greece. The composition by Bernata Vivankosa “O Virgo Splendens” will be a part of concert program as well.
