On 9th April, 2017 resounded the musical union led by the conductor Jānis Stafeckis, gathers students and graduates of Janis Ivanovs Rezekne Secondary Music School, as well as musicians of the most outstanding Latvian orchestras. Its noticeable energy has earned appreciative words and recognition from both, its listeners and other music professionals. Their Sunday evening converts have already become a tradition. This time, we had an opportunity to dive in to the atmosphere of the French spring, through the compositions of Georges Bizet, Camille Saint-Saëns, Maurice Ravel, and other French composers.
