Continuing the tradition established in previous year, this year also, the Embassy of Latgale GORS offers the opportunity to enjoy the film screening under the open sky on the roof terrace of the concert hall. This summer, film and music evenings will take a place every Friday and Saturday, starting from July 17 and ending on August 29.
In July, the beginning of the film screenings is planned at 22.00, however, in August – at 21.00. In order to create this year`s experience more pleasant, on Fridays, a half an hour before the screenings, visitors are welcome to enjoy the performance of jazz musicians. While on August 21, a part of film and music program will be the presentation of the music album recorded by project “Kapļi” (transl. hoes). Summer film and music evenings at the Embassy of Latgale GORS will begin on July 17 offering for the audience an outstanding film by Paolo Sorrentino “The Great Beauty” (La Grande Belezze). On the following weekends, the audience will have an opportunity to enjoy the screening of the best foreign and Latvian movies of the recent years. A ticket sale to the film screenings will start on July 1. Advance sale price for Friday screenings is 4,00 €, Saturday screenings – 3,00 €. In case of bad weather conditions, film and music evenings will be held in the lobby of the 3rd floor.
