Culture Events in November

 

Concert of Russian singer Alexander Malinin. The deep voice of Alexander Malinin is considered to be one of the most interesting of the Russian bandstand. During his musical career, he has released more than 20 music albums, all sold in a great number of copies.

 

The exposition of Rezekne Higher Education Institution Education, Language and Design faculty displays the study projects created during the last three years at the Design and Interior Design study programs. Echibition includes 2D visualizations of interior projects, lighting objects, furniture, interior elements, accessories and more. The opening of the exhibition will be held on November 4th at 11:00. 

 

After a longer rest, music band “Labvēlīgais Tips“ returns on the stage by offering their latest concert program “Nuances of the Freedom” including the most popular and beloved songs. This will be the first performance of the band on the stage of the Embassy of Latgale GORS. 

 

Traditional concert of the national celebration time with Andris Ērglis, Viktors Lapčenoks, Antra Stafecka, Dainis Skutelis, Anmary, Normunds Zušs, the Ladies of the Orange Choir – Anita Levša, Olga Stupiņa, Inta Ļaksa and Jubilee Orchestra under the lead of Jānis Strazds.   

 

“Dirty Deal Teatro“ at their guest performance with some physics and artistic experiments will search the answers to the questions how the clouds, rain, snow, and rainbow are made? How these phenomena could be created at home? Performance is designed for children ages 6-9.

 

Guest performance of “Dirty Deal Teatro“. In the society of nowadays women has an opportunity to take many different roles. However, when does the opportunity become an obligation? These important questions will be addressed by using humor, anthropological researches, and variety show performances with songs and dances. Director: Inga Gaile. ... but Little Squirrel, I do not have a tail like yours – at the theatre play “Funny Tails” says the Little Bear. Would the tail of Little Squirrel fit Little Bear? What misunderstandings may occur if we think of something that belongs to someone else, however, feels more important than something you own yourself? This has to be solved by three friends – Little Bear, Puss, and Little Squirrel.

 

Eclectic Pop Rock music band Triana Park will stop by in Rezekne with their first acoustic concert tour “Acoustic Moon Sessions”. Band wants to conjure a magical atmosphere and take the audience on a long journey. Concert program will reveal not only the sounds of the piano, but also a cello and other acoustic instruments.

 

In the autumn of 2015 music band REMIX celebrates their 30th anniversary! In their anniversary concert on the stage of the Great Hall of the Embassy of Latgale GORS REMIX will perform with Liepaja Symphony Orchestra, resounding the most popular songs and instrumental compositions in new symphonic arrangies.

Concert of the National Anniversary with the participation of the man choir „Gaudeamus“, „Forte“, „Frachori“, „Graidi“ and  wind instrument orchestra „Rēzekne“. In program - songs in Latvian and Latgalian. Concert entry cards can be picked up at the ticket office of the Embassy of Latgale GORS starting on November 1st.

 

In the performance of the new comic Jāņis Skutelis „Politics“ the conversation will be carried about the trustworthiness of the politics, adequacy of the use of the words “true” and “politics” in one sentence, and, of course, other fundamental questions that we keep tripping over during our everyday life.  

 

„Escaping Riga” is a cinematic journey, drama-documentary that searches the answers to the question of how the happenings of the first part of 20th century influenced and changed the lives of people born in the same location – Riga. Cast: Mihails Karasikovs, Gints Grūbe, Mārtiņš Počs, Director: Dāvis Sīmanis.

 

Episodes about neighborhoods and inhabitants of Riga told by seven European contemporary documentary filmmakers and united in a feature-length documentary film. Directors: Ivars Seleckis (Latvia), Rainer Komers (Germany), Bettina Henkel (Austria), Audrius Stonys (Lithuania), Jaak Kilmi (Estonia), Jon Bang Carlsen (Denmark) and Sergey Loznitsa (Ukraine).

 

Concert "Bridges of a Soul" of Latgalian musician, author of songs and lyrics Andris Eriņš in honor of his 60th anniversary. Concert will present the performances of the composer himself, Aija Eriņa, Eriņi and Vorkaļi families, Ingrīda Balode-Augstkalne, music bands "Dricānu dominante", "Baltie lāči", "Gints un es", folklore ensemble "Vīteri" and others.

 

In addition to Latvian Radio Choir, in the concert “Jubilee Portrait” will participate the Chamber Orchestra “Sinfonietta Rīga”. Concert is produced by Uģis Brikmanis, video by Roberts Rubīns, lighting production by Mārtiņš Feldmanis. Conductor Sigvards Kļava. A special concert program will reveal the compositions of an outstanding Latvian composers - Ēriks Ešenvalds, Pēteris Vasks, Rihards Dubra, Emīls Dārziņš and others.

 

This concert is dedicated both to the anniversary of Valery Meladze and his brother Konstantin Meladze. The audience of the anniversary concert will be delighted with the best and well-known songs as «Сэра», «Я не могу без тебя», «Притяжения больше нет», «Вопреки», «Небеса» and many others.
